Design a cabinet to be placed in a bathroom vanity.
Design Iterations and Measurement
Overall fairly simple design. just needed to a model with dimensions to be used as reference for manufacturing. Making the design was pretty simple so I added drawers and created a high quality render to provide a better all around package for the clinet.
The final design included an added lip and snap on top covers for the main driving gear. It was found that even with the original metal enclosure, the plate had too much play or variation in its positioning dependent on how carefully an individual assembled the music box. To fix this, the lip on the plate’s resting block was made to achieve near-perfect alignment every time.
